Counselling Service

The Service

The MSCC is a not-for-profit registered charity offering affordable counselling. Much of the work done is on a voluntary basis and is supported by paid Administrators and Professional Supervisors. You will be asked to contribute towards the cost of your counselling according to your ability to pay.

You will be invited to an Assessment Interview to discuss your needs and determine if the counselling we offer is appropriate for you. This Assessment Interview also helps us to facilitate the allocation of a counsellor suited to your individual needs.

Once allocated a Counsellor, your sessions will be every week on the same day at the same time until you and your Counsellor agree that it is appropriate for you to end.

The Centre is staffed on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. An answer machine will take your call in the first instance, and our Administrator will return your call as soon as she is able.
